This place has upped its game for sure! Last stay disappointing but decided to give it one more try as previously it had been ok. Voiced our disappointment of last stay when booking this time. They certainly listened. From the moment we arrived we noticed huge improvement. The location of room we requested & a refurbished room was supplied. Room had obviously been recently renovated & was advised all rooms were in process of getting a renovation. Breakfast & restaurant in general had improved. & finally after 5 years of staying at Yacht Club the pool had been painted. Looked great!

I was really injured when I arrived from an injury the previous day. The staff were so helpful and kind. They even brought my drink to my room for me. The food was sensational. The variety for the breakfast excellent. I recommend splurging and buying the French toast though it was fabulous. The view was sensational. I woke early and opened the double sliding doors got back in bed with coffee and watched the sunrise over forest clad hills cosy and warm. Also go see the ladies at picton nails and massage, phenomenal well priced massage.

Amber

The room was spacious and comfortable, though I'm not sure it was really "superior". I liked the view to the harbour over the rooftops (NB not waterfront). I arrived late my first night and was able to have dinner in the restaurant even though it was nearly closing time, and it was delicious. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful - a real asset to the property. Easy walking distance to station and port (about 10 mins).

Location and view was excellent. Definitely upgrade to a room with a view. Rooms are nice, clean and beds are comfortable. The wall heater was really noisy so we couldnt use that at night, but there was an extra blanket so we were warm enough. Dont be put off by the tired looking hallways - the bedrooms are really nice. The free continental breakfast was lovely, with fresh fruit, pastries, cereals, yoghurt and toast.

Debbie

The room was spacious and we loved the view of Picton’s Harbour. The bathroom was very well equipped. When we arrived a little before check in time, we were invited to sit down in comfortable seats and enjoy a refreshing cold fruit drink while the rooms were checked and prepared for our friends and us. The hotel is very close to the Main Street of Picton and was a short walk from the train station and the ferry terminal.
